Reconstitution needle — 25G to 27G Use a larger mixing needle (25–27 gauge) to draw BAC water and reconstitute the lyophilized powder. Aim the stream against the vial wall, not directly at the powder.

How the math works. Concentration = vial size ÷ water volume. Draw volume = dose ÷ concentration. Insulin syringes use 100 units per 1 mL, so units = volume × 100. The standard reconstitution ratio is roughly 1 mL BAC water per 10 mg peptide (yields 10 mg/mL). Always verify with a second source before use.

Why does waste happen? Once reconstituted, peptide solution degrades over time (typically ~30 days refrigerated). If a month's dose is smaller than the vial size, the leftover solution must be discarded. The "BAC water wasted" column shows the volume of reconstituted solution discarded; "Peptide wasted" shows the corresponding mg of peptide lost.
